Masterclass 3: The Marlo Masterclass

Tricks are outstanding and Matt does a good job explaining how to perform them. He’s very engaging and entertaining so learning from him is quite enjoyable.

Amazing material, had a lot of fun learning and performing this. Looking forward to watching the other Masterclasses! Marlo Masterclass is a hit!

The Marlo effects are not learned in one go, but with Matt's teaching and practice, they are within reach.

I was lucky enough to session with Marlo in Chicago for a few times in the 80s' and this master class has some of his best audience tested effects. I always learn best from videos and Matt explains everything very clear and easy to understand. This course is well worth the money.

Always good to learn and be able to pass along the card magic of the greats like Marlo. As always Matt teaches in a way that’s easy to understand and his enthusiasm makes learning fun. I know this was a live session, but to make it easier for those of us buying after, and even those who attended the live, I would suggest chapter markers to make it easier to rewatch a magic trick. Just my two cents. Thank you to Matt for sharing his knowledge of the Great Marlo and looking forward to what’s next.

The term "Masterclass" is often banded about nowadays without any real substance behind it. This is definitely NOT the case with this particular course.
The one hour fifty plus minutes are packed with information in a very clearly set out format with excellent camera angles. Numerous tricks & handlings from the master himself, all expertly delivered by Matt in a very user-friendly format. A must buy for any card enthusiast, whatever your level!!!

Awesome masterclass! I learned new stuff right away that i can start practicing. Appreciate the time and effort put in to making sure all the questions are answered and everything is understood clearly. Very well done! Thank you!

The Marlo class was different and a great option! Many different skills to learn. Nice job Matt!

Again - Matt McGurk has managed to present a wonderful Masterclass in card magic! The theme this time was the card magic of Ed Marlo, and for almost 2 hours, Matt entertained us, and taught us, in a very clear manner, some of Ed Marlo’s most famous tricks. Matt managed to provide us with the right amount of presentation coupled with the right amount of explanation, all in his fun, slightly self-deprecating style! Along the way, Matt gave us insights into audience management, audience engagement, lapping, and a most informative section on the use of card crimping. If you are interested in card magic and you get a chance to attend one of Matt’s sessions, do yourself a favour and attend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the class. Your teaching style is casual and clear which is much appreciated.I addition to being a first-class magician, you are also an excellent teacher. Keep the classes coming.!

Matt’s teaching method is very easy to understand. And if one has a problem with a particular step he is patient and has no problem in going back over something. It is a pleasure learning from him.

matt's content is always good, best self working magic teacher by far. this course has good selections from the great ed marlo

Excellent Masterclass!!! Matt is a Great reached

What a class! I learned so much from Matt in the class! It was really worth much more than it cost!

Matt does an excellent job making even incredible tricks easy to learn. I'm a complete beginner, but am still able to follow along and learn some really impressive tricks without needing advanced slight of hand or extremely complicated set ups. I highly recommend Matt for magic instruction if you're interested in learning new skills!

I have taken three of Matt McGurk’s online masterclass courses including his most recent Marlo Masterclass which was fantastic. Matt is a wonderful teacher, a great magician, and he explains things extremely well to his followers. He also provides a follow up recording of the online program which is fabulous to review on your own as often it is difficult to immediately grasp every move in a sequence being taught online as the course must continually movie forward. His courses are for beginners new to magic, but are more suited for folks who have some background in card magic for the more advanced techniques. The things learned in the Marlo Program was well worth the investment.

If you want to learn this is the man to teach you.

Matt is explaining the best tricks quite understandable also for non-Englishspeaking persons. He demonstrates everything in detail. The effects are unbelievable like the weighing cards effect. A real must.

I didn't know what to expect, as I know Marlo usually equals difficult! I unfortunately was called away and couldn't attend live. I was even more worried that it'd be tough to learn when I might have questions. NOT THE CASE! Everything explained CRYSTAL CLEAR and easy to understand, and not that difficult! I feel that with just a little practice time, I will have this stuff down, and it is all AMAZING! Thank you so much, I'm so happy I made this purchase!!

Fantastic tutor! Fantastic masterclass!

This isn't a review of skills, yours are excellent and your teaching style is just as well.
This 1 star is because I was unable to log into the meeting. I tried several times (25 minutes) but once I clicked the link or "join" button on web page the zoom window opens but it always sais "waiting for host to start" ..........
Maybe a video showing how this is actually done. Even screen shots of the process, something that I could follow as there is no help if you can't join.
